ABOUT:

Starting on Monday, June 15, new public art and wayfinding installations will be installed in the Kerrytown neighborhood.

The installations will guide pedestrians from the Ann Ashley Parking Structure to the Ann Arbor Farmers Market.

The artwork will consist of a mural on the north side of the parking structure, sidewalk art on the south side of Miller Avenue and Catherine Street, and will continue northwards on Detroit Street – all leading to a ground mural located within the footprint of the Farmers Market.

The project will be completed by an artist team comprised of Memphis-based muralist Brandon Gaia Marshall and Detroit-based artist Jesse Kassel.

The Ann Arbor Art Center has been a key partner and collaborator with the artists and DDA to oversee artist selection, design review, and scheduling of the artwork installations in Kerrytown.
