The DDA Board is underway with an expansion at the Ann Ashley parking structure. A parking addition at Ann Ashley will be in alignment with the DDA’s streetscape investments west of Main Street aimed at improving pedestrian conditions and spurring private development.
The Ann Ashley structure was designed to carry up to three additional floors, each containing approximately 125 spaces. The Board has established a budget and is working with a design team to refine design concepts and project scope.
A citizen participation meeting will take place on Wednesday, May 2 from 7 to 8pm at the DDA offices at 150 S. Fifth Ave., Suite 301. The meeting will include a short presentation reviewing the project followed by a question and answer segment. In addition, there will be renderings of the design ideas on display for the public to comment on any time during the meeting. This portion of the meeting is open house style, feel free to drop by anytime between 7 and 8pm to learn more about the project.
