Transportation in Downtown Ann Arbor
Circulator Feasibility Study 2017 (pdf)
The getDowntown program began in 1999 as a partnership between the DDA, AATA and the City of Ann Arbor to provide transportation assistance to downtown employers, including the distribution of the DDA’s go!Pass. The DDA continues to provide substantial funds in support of the getDowntown program, as well as 95% of the cost of funding for go!Passes since 2001. The number of downtown employers and employees participating in these programs has grown each year.
To track the success of alternative transportation efforts downtown, the DDA and the getDowntown program have been involved in numerous studies to understand attitudes towards and use of alternative transportation methods.
